Niina Sugawara (菅原新菜, Sugawara Niina) is one of the main protagonists of O Maidens in Your Savage Season series.

Niina is described by many as extremely beautiful. She has pretty blue eyes and pale skin. She also has very light blond short hair. Usually she wears a school-uniform, consisting of a red skirt, a blue tie and a white shirt. Her physique is also noted by the characters as very attractive.
Personality[]
Niina is usually very kind, calm and reserved. She cares a lot about her friends. She has a special worldview and believes each lifespan to be insignificantly short and that, if you want to do something, you should do it immediately and not wait.
Synopsis[]
Sugawara is one of Kazusa Onodera's best friend. Characters in the series call her "crane" due to her fragile appearance. Throughout the series, she develops feelings for Izumi Norimoto.
Moreover, she accuses her former acting teacher, Hisashi Saegusa of being a pedophile and later punched him.

Kazusa Onodera[]
Sugawara thought of her as simple and plain at first sight, but after awhile she began to see her personality interesting and started helping her through the courses of sex. Despite both of them having feelings for Izumi, neither of them sees each other as an enemy. Sugawara considers Kuzusa one of her first friends.
Izumi Norimoto[]
At first sight, Sugawara makes the first move by telling him he was quite good-looking and interesting, she also tried making him touch her multiple times because of her feelings rushing over her and would say it was hot. Later, she developed romantic feelings for him but hadn't won him over.
Momoko Sudō[]
Sugawara is close with Momoko, stating that she and Kazusa were her first friends. Later on, Momoko develops feelings for Sugawara but it is left ambiguous as to if Sugawara reciprocates.
Rika Sonezaki[]
Rika and Niina seem to butt heads often because of their differing views on sexuality and things related to it. But at the end of the day, it's clear that Sugawara cares for her as seen by the way she joins in to protest Rika's expulsion.

Hisashi Saegusa[]
Hisashi was Sugawara's former acting instructor. He has stated himself that he was attracted to Niina when she was little but he would not touch her because it would ruin her innocence, thus making her unattractive to him. Sugawara has mixed feelings towards her instructor, seeing him as a mentor of sorts while simultaneously being disgusted by his attraction to young girls. A lot of Niina's actions throughout the show can be traced back to her relationship with Hisashi.

- The name Niina means "fresh, new" (新) (nii) and "vegetables, greens" (菜) (na).
- Niina's surname Sugawara means "sedge" (菅) (suga) and "field, plain" (原) (hara/wara).
